chrysanthemum moon
i peel of another layer of sorrow that nobody will notice like the cascade
of a free falling waterfall she dreams an endless stream of desires floating seamlessly |
scattered lovers
never a husband... these cherry trees raining petals everywhere nowhere buying a new
cherry blossom kimono as if it could replace his spring kisses offering chrysanthemums
to the Buddha... the only sacrifice i ever made was letting you go |
i want to become
a Klimt woman dangling off the canvas dripping golden light not a single star
out of place in the Milky Way... the garden gate left ajar all night ageless mountain---
putting our mother into a nursing home |
you altered my body
to fit into yours... how gracefully the paper-whites bend towards the moon i am
a prisoner of this snowflake melt me |
