Meet the Poet
Margaret Diehl was born in Texas, grew up in New Jersey and New York, and graduated from the University of New Hampshire. She has published two novels, Men (1988) and Me and You (1990); a memoir, The Boy on the Green Bicycle (1999), all from Soho Press; and a poetry chapbook, it all stayed open (2011, Red Glass Press). She is the recipient of a National Foundation for the Arts Fellowship for fiction and a New York State Council for the Arts Fellowship for creative nonfiction. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and works as a writer/editor at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and for private clients. Read.
