Mark Dennis Anderson
Mark Dennis Anderson lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he recently graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University. There he studied poetry, creative nonfiction, and served on the poetry editorial board for Water~Stone Review. A native of the Twin Cities, Anderson has been a piano teacher for the past fifteen years and now works as an adjunct English and writing instructor at Normandale Community College. He also conducts writing workshops in local addiction treatment centers. Anderson's poetry is greatly influenced by Kim Addonizio and Jim Moore. He currently reads and edits for Flash Fiction Magazine, and a couple of his short poems have been featured on the Twitter review, @escarp. VerseWrights is his first major publishing experience.
