Meet the Poet

Kathleen Everett

Picture
Kathleen Gresham Everett is a writer and poet living in the Missouri Ozarks with her husband, a landscape designer. She attended universities in Texas and Missouri and lived in many areas of the United States from New Jersey to Colorado. Her love for her adopted region of the Ozarks speaks through much of her work. Her first book of poetry was published in 2010, entitled The Course of Our Seasons (AuthorHouse Publishing).  Several of her poems were included in The dVerse Anthology: Voices of Contemporary World Poetry, edited by Frank Watson and published by Plum White Press in 2013. In 2015, two chapbooks, Festival of Lessons and Carols: Poems for December and Penelope to Her Husband: Poems of Myth and Fantasy, were published by Everdale Publishing through lulu.com. You may purchase these books here. Everett writes on her blog, The Course of Our Seasons, and can be found on Twitter @everettpoetry. She is currently editing her memoir, The Last Really Good Shack, and is working on a second book of poetry. Read.
