Meet the Poet


Tim Gardiner

Tim Gardiner has published his poetry in Camel Saloon (2014), Country-Side (2013), Dead Snakes (2014), Haiku Journal (2014), Poetry Nook (2013), Three Line Poetry (2014) and 50 Haikus (2014). Three remembrance poems have also been published on The War Poetry website (2013), as well as a poem in Homeland (2013). His first collection of full-length poetry, Wilderness, is due to be published by Brambleby Books in 2014. He is also an ecologist who has published numerous scientific papers and two books on natural history: Hopping Back to Happiness (2009) and Glowing, Glowing, Gone? (2011). A passionate conservationist with a doctorate from the University of Essex, he won the David Bellamy Award in 2013. Tim regularly tweets haiku @TimGardiner3 and has a poetry webpage hosted by the Essex Field Club. He lives in the UK. Read.
