Ali Grimshaw
Ali Grimshaw is a native Oregonian currently living in Portland, Oregon. She is the author of the poetry blog flashlight batteries, which offers hope for those struggling in the darkness and a mirror for tough times in life. For twenty years she has worked as an educator specializing in interventions for students in public schools. You can still find her teaching kids to read. She is a lover of questions, a Zydeco dance teacher, a life coach, and a poet at heart. Ali is passionate about leading shared writing experiences so that others may find the power of their own voices. She has posted poetry online, but VerseWrights is her first publishing experience.
