Lavana Kray

Selected Haiku...

open air jazz -

an ibis delving
in the oiled waste

tulips for mom -
the faraway look of her eyes
looking for my name

old attic -
the doll also has
chapped hands

clothesline -
the evening fog wears
my black frock

worm wind -
some childish part of me turns
into dandelions

New Year -
I break a wishbone
on my own

walking back and forth

on my own footprints...
dying embers

gulls on the bridge...
can't tell my cry apart
from theirs

no one on the bridge -
the perfume of a scarf
woos butterflies
Picture

Lavana Kray's profile

widow's house -
a cherry blossom twig
into the letterbox

jasmine fragrance -
a snail crawling
on the tea table

honey moon -
first snowflakes gather
in the empty nests
