Meet the Poet


Colin Will

Picture
Colin Will is an Edinburgh-born poet and publisher with a scientific background who now lives in Dunbar, Scotland. He has travelled widely, and the poetry of place features in much of his writing. He has played an active part in developing Scotland’s poetry organizations, including the Scottish Poetry Library and the StAnza International Poetry Festival, both of whose Boards he has chaired. His books include Thirteen Ways of Looking at the Highlands, The Book of Ways, Recycled Cards, Mementoliths 2, Seven Senses, and The Floorshow at the Mad Yak Cafe. His sixth collection, The Propriety of Weeding, was published by Red Squirrel Press in 2012. His own publishing house, Calder Wood Press, specializes in poetry chapbooks.
